I managed to nearly complete C25K before Christmas reaching W9R1 before succumbing to a chest infection which stopped me in my tracks.
But today I belatedly managed to recommence by completing W6R1. After taking excellent advice from everyone on here I started brisk walking for the last few days before having a go at W6 to see how it was
Tbh it was harder than I expected but I managed to do the run at a very slow and steady pace, and really enjoyed it
So, back on it and really looking forward to the next run on Saturday! Thanks everyone for the advice and encouragement

Very well done to you... taking it gently and listening to your body... we enjoy things far more when we do that... those runs are going to just unfold under your feet and you will be back at Week 9, stronger and more ready for that podium, celebration!
I went through much the same - I only had last run of week 9 to go when some bad cold/flu got me. I too went back to week 6, though I didn't do all the run for each week until this week when I was back to week. Delighted to have completed the last run, albeit felt a bit slower than my last one, but the main thing is to have reached the end.
Thanks for your reply and sorry for the delay in responding
Glad you are over the illness and many congratulations on completing the programme - well done! Really inspiring
I did W6R2 yesterday and though it was harder than the first time round I enjoyed it. I was tempted to skip the odd run to get back to week 9 but I’m going to follow the sequence properly I think.
Thanks drl212. apologies for late response! I hope your injury recuperation is coming along well- the interval walking and gently easing back to running . Although my break from running was due to illness, the enforced break has helped heal a niggly calf pain that was there before. So every cloud….
