Aww congratulations. I'm about to go and do my w6r3.
I started the first 3 weeks running outside but bought a treadmill and for the last 3 weeks have been using that, which is great, but with no breeze and the heating on I've been melting (even when I've opened the back door and had a fan next to me) so today I'm gonna run outside again, really hoping it won't make it harder as I've been used to the treadmill)
I do a mix of outside and treadmill. I find the running slightly easier on the treadmill ( I think because of the constant pace)but so much more enjoyable outside and the time goes quicker with the changing view.
Enjoy your run and let me know how you get on 🏃♀️👍🏼
Wow I found that really hard. Didn't help that I forgot to eat or drink anything before I went, and that almost the whole route was uphill, wish I'd done my route the other way round, had to stop about 3 times for 10 seconds and at times I really really had to slow down but was still slowly jogging. I was feeling rubbish about it when I got back, but my OH told me I was being daft, I'm glad now I've done it. My strava crashed after 8 minutes, it doesn't seem to get on well with the C25k app, and C25k app apparently doesn't like being put in my pocket as turns off. But including my warm up /cool down runs that was my longest distance 🙂
I always take an extra day if I’m really tired, any niggling pains etc... I’ve never regretted it and now a month past graduation and still running. Good to listen to your body....
