Accountability!!

I'm posting this here to hold myself accountable. Following on from my last post, today is the day I'm getting back into the ct5k. I'm going to set some time aside for myself today in-between my 2 poorly daughters and I'm going to get my first run done. If i can't get out for a run I will get my treadmill out and knock the dust off of it, but one way or another I will get it done! After I do the run, I will return to this thread and let you all know how I done. Thankyou everyone for your support on my last post, yes losing 4 stone has been absolutely life changing if I'm honest and iam very excited to get to my goal weight after having 2 children I got so wrapped up being a mum I forgot to look after myself and remember I'm still a person.

I'm in absolute shock!!! I can't believe what I've just done! Having completed the ct5k a long time ago and not running since I have just done 3k in 20 minutes!! I started out doing the week 1 run 1 and I just didn't stop running! A nice easy 7.6 speed on the treadmill and I just never stopped running. I honestly felt I could have ran the 5 minute cool down walk but I decided to not get ahead of myself and just stop running and do the cool down walk. I feel so proud of myself, I honestly don't know why I was so nervous about getting back into it or why i put it off for so long!! I can't believe what I just achieved!! So impressed with my physical ability and feel so much better and comfortable on the treadmill having lost alot of weight. I can't wait to run again!!

It goes to show how much psychology plays a part in this. You already knew you could do it. You had the mental strength.

Part of being a good mum is modelling looking after yourself so this is great.

Thankyou everyone. I done another run this morning, another 3k in 20 minutes. I felt that i could go for longer but I'm just easing myself back in gradually, sweating loads but not short of breath or feeling like I'm struggling. I dont want to get to cocksure of myself!! I've set out a goal to have run atleast one 5k by Christmas, so that i can go into the new year running 5k regularly and hopefully get a few charity runs under my belt 🤞 thankyou all for the support and lovely messages 😊 I will keep you all posted on my progress.
