Accountability

I want to find a way to make myself accountable. I started C25k maybe 8 weeks ago and here I am only about to start W4R1. Which is fine ... I’m still plodding on through, but I need a way to make myself accountable. The support I see on here is incredible so, I’m going to post every time I do my run. So everyone, see you all this evening having completed W4R1. I promise.

We'll be watching 👀

Why don't you sign up for a 5k like the Race for Life later in the year? That will concentrate the mind.

Good luck!

It is a good idea to post up on here, you get nothing but encouragement! Also try to find someone who is at a similar stage to you to keep you on track a little. Speed's reply is good, have something to aim for, or plan a park run so that you have something to aim for,. All of those things helped me a lot.

Go on, get out there!! (and then report back!) 😁

Morning! I hold my self accountable on this group. I post after each run saying how it is not how I would have liked it to be. Some are easier than others-some are just horrible and you don’t want to confess how bad it was but you find that everyone has been there-that helps! I have been going since mid Dec but only on week 6-doing it at my pace, just repeated w6r1 and will probably do it again until I feel I am ready for the next one! Also just swapped trainer from Sarah to Michael...food luck- it’s a great community!!

Hi CheshreCat15 and welcome 👋 Well done on getting this far. Plodding at your own pace is exactly what you should be doing so you're doing everything right. Looking forward to your posts :)

This is a good place for motivation and inspiration and of course you say you will run and we will all check back to see if you did, running will at some point become addictive and then it won’t matter because you will just go
