Whoopee!

I have just completed week1 run 3 & I feel totally pumped!!

I did have a few aches & pains but from looking at the health unlocked forum chats , I upped my post/pre run stretching & am happy with my progress.

I know I have a way to go but I feel so much better & confident with running than I thought I would!!!🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

This is fantastic, if you can do Week 1 the rest will just follow on. It sort of gets easier as your fitness and confidence increase.

The stretching really helps, make sure you drink enough water too. If you up your water intake the day before the run you're less likely to need a wee half way through, though you'll probably sweat off any excess as you go.

Good luck with Week 2 :)

It’s great that you’ve made a positive start. I found that the aches and pains of the early weeks eased as I moved through the programme. Stretches and making sure you have a rest day between runs is definitely the way forward.

Hi, it is normal to feel a bit achey afterwards, your muscles aren't used to it, but a day or two of rest will give your body time to recover. Onwards to week 2 🏃‍♀️

Very well done! I felt great after W1 too; I'd finally started the programme (after thinking about it for years! 😂) and really wanted to finish it - and even though 9 weeks sounded like ages, it kinda flew really (I only graduated a couple of weeks ago). Good luck for the rest, and it'll be great to hear how you're getting on!
