Did W9R3 this morning, accompanied by raucous rock from Kings of Leon. Pushed myself a bit and managed to run further than I have before.
So I have completed C25K - me, the notorious quitter who never finishes anything!
Thank you to all the runners on this forum who have cheered me on, given great advice, and kept me going when things weren't going well. I couldn't have done it without you.
Next challenge is to keep going and set my own goals without an app telling me what to do all the time! Thanks again and happy running! ππββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπ

Well done! As someone whose runs fizzled to zero in the months after graduating first time round, Iβm not the best person to offer advice, but I wish you all the very best and hope you keep going...and you can be my role model!
Thank you so much! I shall read the guide with interest, as I definitely need some pointers about how to keep going with the running (and the smiling!). x
Woo hoo - thank you! I'll definitely be consolidating - doing more 30 minute runs and getting to 5K, for a start. I'm standing by the podium now - how do I get my badge? xx π
Ha, you have to ask for it on the link I sent you above, and then the badge fairy will award you with your grey Graduate badge next to your name for all to admire... x
Yay! Well done runner! You have done brilliantly! I too was a notorious quitter before doing C25K. The feeling of accomplishment is phenomenal, isnβt it?!
I have now been running for 7 months and am still totally in love with it. Post grad is fun, as you can do whatever you like! I consolidated my 30 min runs for a while, then worked up to 5k, tried new routes, improved my 5k speed, did some interval runs, did a virtual 5k race, now practicing 6k runs, doing Zombie, runs missions - there is SO much fun to be had!
Well done you. Enjoy your achievement - and do enjoy an Easter egg or two as a reward! π ππββοΈ
Thank you so much, and yes, it does feel like a real achievement! All of your post grad ideas sound like good fun, particularly the Zombie one !! There'll definitely be a bit of Easter egg chomping going on! Happy running! πππ
Woohoo! I am in awe .... you have done so well and kept me going. I am doing wk 9 run 2 on Sunday and hopefully run 3 on Tuesday - keep that podium warm for me x
Hey JoJo - can't believe I did it! Thanks for all your support and encouragement along the way! Have a lovely Easter and happy running xx πππββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
Thank you so much - bit apprehensive about being app free - I'm so good at following instructions! So will have to sit down and plan some goals and new routes. Thanks for all the support and encouragement. Happy running! ππ
