Pouring with rain and a nice strong wind whipping into my face!
I felt that I paced myself really well today - started off slow and steady and increased pace for the mid-part of the run. Flagged a little towards the end but managed to finish with a sprint. And felt very pleased. Looking forward to my graduation run later this week.
Only realised how wet I was as I was walking back. Can't wait for those lovely Spring runs!! πββοΈπββοΈ

Thanks! I've had such awful weather whilst I've been doing C25K that I'm kinda used to it! (rain, frost, ice, snow, etc). Hoping the weather will be better for Run 3, but actually I don't care! Hope your running (and cycling) is going well. ππ
It's good thanks. I managed my 50k Sat although the conditions were just awful. I don't eat enough on the way round and paid for it later with fatigue but I still managed a gentle 4.5 mile run on Sunday. Out tonight and thurs and I'll try another trail run Sunday I think ππ
Just amazing! I had a few days off to get my Tendonitis under control and ran my last wk 8 run yesterday - it was great, so much better than run 2. Starting week 9 tomorrow so will be basking in your well deserved glory as you graduate! I have really appreciated your posts as they have given me real boosts when needed most!
So glad to hear you're back on the road! Thank you so much for your kind words - so nice to know that you've enjoyed my posts. Good luck with Week 9 - you will smash it and I'll be waiting on the podium (hopefully!). xx ππ
Thatβs a foot and a toe on the podium, next time itβll be all of you. Well done and congrats - and lets keep everything crossed for some Spring weather
