Hello and welcome to the forum. Good to see you here with us.

Well done on completing the C25 K forum... but what particularly are you finding difficult ?

🍏Morning! 🎊🎈Congratulations on completing the program. Here is a link to collecting your Graduate Badge.

Do let us know as  Oldfloss mentioned what you are finding difficult so we can help you a bit more. Often the main source of difficulty is running too fast & slowing down especially the first part of the run changes things.. gives your body a chance to transition from the warm up walk … The link to claiming your badge will also give you some ideas. Do let us know but in the meantime well done!!!! 👏

Hello.... as Annieapple has said, the source of tiredness is often starting and continuing at too fast a pace.

Beginning at an easy relaxed pace is key...and always making sure you have something left in your running tank.

Are you making sure that you are putting on some core strength and stamina work on some rest days...? Your running body does need support too, not just your legs !

There are loads of ideas to help with that on our Strength and flex forum. Links to posts on every bit of our running body.

Take a look,,, Rest days too are essential so make sure you do have a complete rest on some of them. Is your running location hilly?

If it is, then maybe for a while try and head to a flatter location to enjoy some easier runs?

Do keep us posted please.

All good advice Rechovazza but also remember that it doesnt get easier in so much as you get stronger. It'll come, just keep consistent and dont worry about times at this stage. Run comfortable.

It took me two or three months after completing until I actually started to enjoy running. I'd say mix your routes up a bit, set yourself some achievable targets and take some time to realise and be proud of how far you have come.

Cheers!

Agreeing with everyone here: "Slow and steady" and "Consistency" are the watchwords...

Do let us know how you get on...

congratulations on completing the programme! 🤩👏🏻

It changes lives. I remember thinking ‘now what’? When I finished ct5k, I tried some parkruns as they’re 5k and found that if I slowed down (and this came naturally when I ran for the first time with somebody) - we chatted, and I didn’t notice that I wasn’t thinking about my breathing or pace anymore. When I ran alone I tried to sing along to my music so I knew I wasn’t going too fast. It took time to slow down but it was the best piece of advice I was given on here by the much missed IannodaTruffe I’m forever grateful for it.

So many amazing admins on here who have always supported and helped with advice along my journey - try it and see if it works for you - good luck ☺️
