Completing couch to 5K

Last Monday I graduated couch to 5k! at the beginning of the program I was an unfit teenager who couldn't run for one minute straight. I think in the first run i stopped at the 30 second mark which now i find embarrassing. If you are new to couch to 5K my best advice is to run with another person, a sister, parent, friend, PT, ect. they will keep you motivated if you feel like you can't do it they will spur you on, my dad and sister where the people who got me through this and told me to carry on and I would have probably stopped at the second week if they didn't run with me. My favourite place to run is in my local woods. It is very physically demanding with tree roots and mud but it is far away from where anyone I know is and it is peaceful. If you are struggling on week 1 just remember in nine weeks you will be running like a pro!

Well done! Cross country running is harder I think because you have to pick your feet up and watch the ground where you’re running. Congratulations on graduating.

Not too many teenagers do this course but congratulations on completing C25K, I am glad you enjoyed your runs with your dad and sister, these woods where you run sound a little dangerous, just be careful you don't fall or sprain an ankle.

If you want to see the word graduate next to your username tell the administrators that you have completed all the runs of C25K.

Haha I think you must have predicted time because I twisted my ankle on my run today after only running for 2k oopsie, lots of R and R and I'll be fine by wednesday :)

Sorry about that, perhaps you could find a more safer route to πŸƒπŸΎ run.

To get your graduation badge and the word GRADUATE πŸŽ“ next to your username leave a message on the June graduate post in the pinned posts on the right side of the healthunlocked C25K home page and tell the administrators that you have ran W9R3 of C25K and graduated from C25K and graduated. 😊 πŸƒπŸΎ πŸŽ“
