Week 6 Run 2 went really well! I’m managing to maintain my new slower pace and felt comfortable all the way through 😊
I’ve found that listening to a podcast rather than music works better for me and think some of you would really like this one as it’s about how to form new habits and fits so well with C25K
I found music made me want to run a bit faster whereas with a podcast I just trot along concentrating on what’s being said and am happy going nice and slow 😊
I recently changed to listening to podcasts too. I listen to Happy Place with Fern Cotton. I find I get lost in listening and looking at the scenery that I forget the pain of running!
Ah yes my daughter recommended that one and I’d forgotten about it so thanks for the reminder. And yes the scenery is a fab distraction too noticing which flowers are starting to pop up in people’s gardens
