I'm on to the stepping stones runs. I found 35 mins hard and there was no way I was going to go faster at the end!... but I did it, and I liked Steve's posture tips. In the middle of the run, for the very first time ever, I had fun and enjoyed it😆😅, this was due to the nice weather and the Spotify 165bpm playlist I was listening to which gave me a lift...I felt like I was in a Rocky montage going up those steps!!!!How are these 3 runs going for others?

Congratulations on a great run! Was that your longest time so far?

The great thing about having a virtual coach is they can give you suggestions but you can totally ignore them if it doesn’t work for you!! Sometimes it’s nice feeling a bit like a rebel. I’m using the nike club which often had pace pick ups suggested during long runs. Sometimes you think “no way” but try it and you find another gear you never expected was there. Sometimes it’s just “no way” and that’s absolutely fine too.

Enjoy your next run-you’re doing brilliantly! When you’re ready, you might want to think about coming over to Bridge to 10k. That’s for anyone who has finished and feels it fits well with how they’re running and it doesn’t have to be aiming for 10k. Lots of us will be doing similar things to you. No pressure at all though. Have a browse and see what you think. You might particularly enjoy the quest where you set your own goals. There’ll be a brand new one on June 1st. Some links to have a look at or ignore!

I to dreaded the thought of doing the stepping stones but I really enjoy the speed intervals. I find it really hard to up my pace on longer runs. With the intervals because they are short, I find I can up the anti. I surprised myself
