hi - just returning after 5 years away and wanting to kickstart my fitness and make sure I retain it as I get older. I’ve been doing yoga for a year so had lulled myself into a false sense of security thinking I was pretty supple and fit … but I was wrong! Started week 1 again on Saturday and was shocked to find out how hard it was and how many new muscles I was using! Sore today still but determined to keep going….

Welcome back... Annieapple has given you a starting link and if you head across to the Strength and flex Forum...there are loads of exercise there to help with that soreness!
You need to comeback very gently and make sure that those bits if you that have had an easier time over the years start to wake up gently.
