Yay! Back in the saddle...

Am having a proud, and somewhat relieved, moment this afternoon. I had my first run after surgery last week.

I decided to only try 5k and a bit slower than usual so I didn't stress out my poor old body. Achieved the 5k in 34 minutes... not too shabby. Not so great compared to what I was doing a fortnight ago but a good starting point to build on again. I'm doing a 5k fun run in 10 days (was originally going for the 10k but I have to be realistic) so it will be all business and timing from here on in.

Ahhh my feel good endorphin friends... I missed them!
