Hi all I did my week 8 run 1 yesterday evening and it was really tough I think due to the heat. Having said that I am considering doing my first Hastings parkrun just to see how it is running with other people around. Hopefully it won’t be too hot and I can take it nice and easy fingers crossed 🤞

Why not? Take it easy, walk a little if you need to, but most of all have fun!

@ripcurlrana (won’t let me tag her - no idea why) pianoteacher , HoagyM and Berksrover may do that ParkRun I think! ParkRuns are the best things EVER!

Yes that's my parkrun Tasha! Will be there with my son on Saturday Runsome It's a lovely flat course - I did it for the first time in week 7. More than happy to run/walk with you if you want moral support? If you'd rather do it by yourself no problem x

You’re going for a PB! I think you should meet up at the start and then coffee it at the end though! I’m so jealous! Maybe I should move to the south coast!

Thanks for the offer pianoteacher I’m still not sure if I’m brave enough to run with others yet having struggled a number of times but as yet not given up during a c25k session. if I do go I will just turn up and go alone with no expectations of myself but it’s really nice of your offer to support me and it’s much appreciated 👍

No problem - totally understandable!

When I did my week 7 run in it I walked the first 5 mins did the 25 min run then walked to the finish - I did run over the finish line 😉 There is a walk2run group in Hastings (similar idea to couch25k) and there are lots of members of that who do parkrun every week. Enjoy 😁

Hastings would be a bit far for either Berksrover or me, but good luck anyway 😀
