Just thought I’d post this , a nice article in the paper on slow running being a thing this weekend. Good for stamina and building up tolerance for longer runs … Thought I was the only one, but apparently slow running groups are a thing. It comes very natural for me to meander the 5k , breathing nice n slow in and out of my nose .. lovely almost meditative … and sometimes I worry I’m actually walking ( my trusted Lurcher says otherwise ) …. Here’s to those at the back of the class who strive to get there and do so listening to their bodies

Thanks for flagging this - I follow a couple of these runners on social media and they are a breath of fresh air! Had not got round to reading the article until today, so 🙏🙂.
Also, I think for older runners (I am 58), there is so much content and focus on speed out there, it can be a bit soul-destroying at times!
Link here for anyone else who is interested…remember, we are ALL runners, whatever our speed and we’re looking after our mental and physical well-being to boot!💪🙂
