Good morning all what an amazing day i took a trip back to the 80’s

I’m not going to mention blisters ever again i promise.

Chilly out there so i put leggings on, complete with leg warmers round my ankles

We’ve been practising slow Japanese running round the house and at work

So off we went nice and gentle just under 10 mpk pace

At just under 3k Willow was walking but not limping Yay!

I promised myself that while on holiday from work i would go to the beach every day so instead of getting back in the car we walk/ran across the park across the road onto the beach took a few photos and walked back so in all covered 5.17k

Home for tea and toast

Happy running everyone who can and heal well if you can’t

80’s theme music too Eurythmics Beautiful South Clifford T Ward and a load of other random tunes that are on my phone

Oh I loved those 80’s leg warmers. Used to have a stripy pair I wore to college . I knitted them myself , they went right up to my thighs. Can’t believe I admitted that. Glad you had such a good walk/run.

I loved them too but only had dark colours now i have navy and a grey pair i think they are coming back into fashion

We decided to try and cover 5 k rather than 30 minutes now even if it means a long walk at the end

Live long enough and everything comes back into fashion. So funny when young ones think they invented something we did 40 years ago. Good plan on aiming for 5k. Glad it’s working for you. I was due to start the 10k plan today but overdid things yesterday so having extra day or two off. Enjoy that beautiful beach

You are quite right and it shows how long we’ve lived, rest well my friend, we will stick with 5 k for now as i don’t want Willow damaging his knee again

I will mind Ive shared more about my feet than ever before here

I’ve learned a lot too about managing them so they can go back to being something i don’t go on about

To be able to run is magic Have a great Sunday

Sounds like a lovely run/walk. I love photos of water/the beach , there's just something so tranquil about being near water. Hope you enjoyed your tea and toast. 😊😊😊
