Done it! Whoop! Whoop!

After two failed attempts over the past few years trying to do C25K on my own, falls on the first run kind of fails…I decided on my third attempt to join a local group. They run the program a little longer, over twelve weeks, running for 45 minutes in week 12. Consequently we ALL ran 5k! I’ve done it! It’s my Christmas present to myself that I have finally run 5k. It’s been really helpful reading all the posts on this forum, so thank you all too. I’m staying with the group after Christmas and have ‘moved up’ to the 5k group!! Happy Christmas all 🎄

Well done you! Sounds like a fantastic way to get running, what a great idea to stretch the last run to 45 minutes. This is much more realistic if you actually want to reach 5k. Happy Christmas and Happy Running 😁

🍏👏❤️✅🎈What a feeling to both finish C25K and to do 5k … very few of us, myself included were running 5K at graduation!! Celebrate & enjoy the encouragement & camaraderie of being in a group!
