2nd attempt and I’ve finished c25k, I cannot recommend the app enough, it’s been brilliant for me, helping to keep me going and I will continue using the week 9 runs until I feel confident to progress further with my running. Can anybody recommend an app to try when I’m ready to progress?

Congratulations on graduating from C25K, well done, after several 30 minute consolidation runs you could try Ju Ju's Magic 10 plan if you want to run a 10K, not an app but a 8 weeks plan a little like C25K, Google Ju Ju's Magic 10 plan.

Well done - you should feel chuffed with your achievement! I have no additional advice on "what now?" to that already shared with you, but would definitely encourage participating in your local Parkrun (it's hoped they'll start again on 5th June). It's free, friendly, inclusive and non-competitive, plus the Email they send you afterwards is a real boost. You'll need to register and get a barcode (all explained on website) to get the most from it. Good luck!😀👍🏴‍☠️

Excellent, well done 🌟

Congratulations and well done. I did a couple of the week 9 runs again when I'd finished then was pointed in the direction of the Nike Run Club app. I've done quite a few of the runs on there and like the extra coaching that is provided. whatever you decide to do, enjoy running x

Big congratulations 🥳! Brilliant! When I graduated I took the consolidation period to get to know the free running apps on offer.

I’d say the top three I would try out, to see which one you might like to go with for longer, are

- Nike Running Club, which has free audio guided runs

- Runkeeper, which I think has the most comprehensive freely available functionality keeping the metrics of your run. It also has different voices, which are a hoot

- Strava, which specifically supports the social aspects of running, connecting to others and to clubs

If you haven’t I integrated S&F into your weekly regime yet, this might also be if interest: healthunlocked.com/strength...

Enjoy!

Brilliant advice, thanks so much, I’m definitely going to do the strength and flexibility training inbetween!

SPECTACULAR news!!Most seem to say that consolidation runs are needed first to get you solidly into running for 30 mins/5K. Then off to the next level if you wish... but whatever you do, enjoy your achievements.
