Sports bras. The best thing since sliced bread?

Just posted this on Bridge to 10k, but sharing it more widely to C25K too.

Many of us are wearing sports bras when we run, so this is a recommended listen

bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m001s...

What style is best? How much should we spend? How often should we replace them? And more. Happy listening

I'll listen to that, I have sports bras but don't always wear them, best bit of running kit for me is an underwired bikini so I can go straight in the sea at the end of my run on a hit day .Thanks for sharing

Thanks for sharing 🙏 Being an E cup I would have black eyes if I didn't have a good sports bra 😲

Very interesting and informative article. Thanks. It shows that you don't have to spend a fortune to get the right fit.

I listened to this a while ago, or something very similar. I recently got 2 really good sports bras from Lidl, less than £9.00 each.

My first sports bra was from Lidl too (or was it Aldi?) One of the squashy ones, very robust, still wearable 3 years later though my allegiance has moved to Decathlon.

This was a really interesting programme, only problem is that now I wonder if I'm destroying my bra every time I wash it 😂

🤣, I have had some bad experiences with sports bras. I tried a Shock Absorber one in Debenhams. I honestly thought I was going to need someone to help me remove it and at some point I wouldn't have cared if it was another shopper🥵🥵🥵. Since then it's been pretty much M and S , so finding a cheaper alternative is great.

My only complaint is the removable pads. Why?!

I'm a fan of M&S sports bras too, but not the ones with pads. They last and last and last, and yes I do wash them!
