Good morning/afternoon everyone, just giving an update that I have completed week 1, after a 6/7 month haitus from running I felt really good, looking forward to next week however I think I may repeat week 1s training again instead of jumping straight into week 2, as I felt myself struggling a little bit at the end of run 3 this morning, nothing too bad, but I think an extra week doing week 1 will help me adapt before increasing the running time. :)

Well done!

In what way were you struggling ?

Note: Week 1 - TOTAL run time is 8 minutes

Week 2 = 9 minutes 😎

Struggling to proably the wrong word, on the last run I was just feeling really fatigued compared to the 2 days prior but could just be my body adapting to the new activity.

As long as you're JOGGING, going very slowly and taking it easy, then you SHOULD be able to move onto Week 2 with no issue. Some fatigue is perfectly normal and should not be a barrier to progressing. You'll be fine!

I repeated every week twice, I found it helped me to mentally prepare for the increased run times as I moved through the program. I’d just say do what you feel you need to do. Good luck 👍🏻

Welcome... and very well done... This is your run and you do it your way.

There is no need to repeat the runs, but, if you feel for whatever reason that you would like to do that before you move on, that is absolutely fine.

I'm sure you took a peek at the link I gave you a few days ago. on How to Run C25K... so just take it slow and steady, and enjoy the runs:)
