after postponing my final week 9 run for a couple of days due to heavy rain and sleet, the weather cleared and I did it, woohoo! So much inspiration from this community so thank you to one and all🙏. It’s the first time I’ve run (slow jogged) on tarmac..quite the revelation…as I have stuck to the fields but they are so waterlogged it became too difficult…not to mention our sheep are back in there and they would run after me looking for treats 🐑🐑🐑🐑. Is it naughty to consider a celebratory tipple this evening 🍷? xx

Great stuff! Well done. It’s a good feeling isn’t it?😎
Not at all have several it’s a real achievement congratulations !! 👏👏
Brilliant! That’s a great achievement . Now for your graduation party 🎉🥳🥳
Hip Hip Hooray 🥳
What did you think of the road running as compared and contrasted to fields? I should run on softer surfaces but it is so soggy and slippery -I would need spikes on waterproof ‘welly trainers’ !!
Thanks! I really noticed the bounce from the tarmac compared to the fields which started to feel like the earth was trying to hold onto my feet with each step! The positive on grass was how easy it is on the joints and I certainly noticed a bit of jarring from the road so can imagine how tough that might have been doing 9 weeks on road. I was lucky with our fields as having cut a few for hay they became a good running route. But as the grass grew and the rain continued to fall the fields turned into a bog. My feet were always soaking by the end of the warmup so am very used to running with wet feet! My old trainers also started to fall apart from being constantly wet so I think a graduation present to myself will be to buy some new trainers!
Well done to you 👏 👍 Great achievement. 🏃♀️🍾🏅 Now you are a runner you've got a possible "cure" in your running legs 😁 or maybe just have a well deserved rest 💤
ah fantastic! 👍🏼👏🏼🎉🥳🍾🏅what a great achievement and I hope you enjoyed your well deserved celebration!
Congratulations on completing C25K!
Congratulations. I would suggest that, 'a celebratory tipple', is almost compulsory?
