Ooops, week 7 wrong run….

I was away on a mini break, so fell behind a few days. Back on the horse today, and didn’t check the schedule (I don’t use the app, but but the training on my Garmin watch). Struggled through the 28 minutes and just realise that it was actually only 25 minutes this week. Oh well, I guess the next two 25 minute runs will feel easier. But I guess it goes to show that so much of the effort here towards the end is mental rather than physical.

🍏 You are so right.. if we think we can, we do! However it’s so important unless it’s an oops 🙊 that we stick to the program.. those gradual increases are also to prevent injury & build up fitness gradually. Always start your run extra slowly especially the first 10 min so your muscles adjust from walking to running more easily.. then you will enjoy these longer runs rather than battle your way through them! Well done …. You are doing a cracking job both mentally and physically!! 👏🙌

Mistakes can be made regarding which week of C25K you run, especially when you don't use the app, there are 4/25 minute runs, run 3 of week 6 and the 3 runs of week 7, you ran the first run of week 8 which is 28 minutes, I would advise you to run the 3/25 minute runs of week 7. 😊 ✔️
