Morning

I can only find a written plan online. Is there an 8 week guided plan available for 10k?

If so, how do I access it?

Cheers

Annoyingly they don’t have that one on the app. You have to manually find the runs from the written plan if you want to follow it

EDIT: come over to Bridge to 10k…there’s loads of helpful stuff about building to 10k over there!

This post talks about the NRC 10k plan..

The half marathon plan on the app starts at 5k and builds to 10k before moving on to HM

I noticed that, it's 5 runs a week. Though I could tailor it to suit me.Cheers

I’ve done that plan a few times picking three runs a week. I did the magic plan to build to 10k…that’s also a written plan but you could choose Nike Run Club guided runs to fit. The long runs on the NRC half marathon plan go 5k, 6.4km, 8km, 8km, 10km which I personally would have found a very quick progression straight from couch to 5k.

Thanks for that.I find it a little unmotivated without a clear plan. X

I tailored it to myself too and spread 1 week over 2 weeks. I only run twice a week. I also added in extra longer runs to extend the distance more gradually. I didn’t bother with the 15 mins run each week. I just listened to it when doing the housework 😂 as it was useful for telling you what the next step involved. Good luck with whatever you decide to go with.

I'm doing Juju's magic plan, which is working for me. First I did the plan to get up to 60 minutes running, chiefly because I'm very slow. Now I'm working on the 10k version. I find an NRC run I fancy for the time/duration required, or a podcast and that's it. Good luck.
