I love the idea and the concept of 'supported' runs after C25K but I get into all kinds of trouble with the app and end up losing my workout, losing my history, pausing and not restarting - you get the picture.
Is this user error? or do others find the app tricky to use?

🍏 I did find it tricky to start with and deleted the App. When I reinstalled it, it was fine.
You do need to download the run you want to do before going out. Then press start . If you want to resume after it pauses, hit start again & it picks up where you left off. When you are done you do need to hold the stop button for a few seconds in order to get your record.
Hope this helps. It’s worth persisting as the runs are fab!! Xx
Thank you Annie - I was doing the pause and restart and that is when it got in a tangle. Maybe I will delete and reload. If you delete, do you lose your history?
The app has a lot of quirks but the guided runs on there are great. As there appears to be no search facility I scrolled through them all one day bookmarking favourites and a week or so later they had all disappeared from my folder. So I always use Strava alongside NRC and that's the best of both worlds I read too that NRC is going to integrate Strava into the app soon. All the best!
I have not had any issues with NRC, so one thing I can think of why the described problems might appear ( of loosing settings or saved runs) is that maybe it’s because of not having registered with a free account (that holds all settings in the cloud)?
I haven’t lost my runs but I have had problems with the app pausing or not starting runs that were allegedly downloaded on my phone when there was poor data signal. It’s a bit glitchy for sure!
When a new update came, it settled down again. Hopefully it will sort itself out.
When they told me to press pause, do stretches, and resume, it hasn't always resumed smoothly. One time, it launched directly into the fast interval while I trotted along waiting for them to say, Go! Another time, it just didn't resume.
When I finish a run, almost always the icon spins and spins with a message saying "Nike is completing your run." After a few hours I give up and hard-close the app with fingers crossed that it has saved. Most of the time it has.
I don't care that much about numbers, I just want to remember how far and when, and if it's not too much to ask, how long! More than once I've wondered if the GPS is off, but I figure that if it's always off by the same amount then at least my progress will be realistic.
Also, it seems to only count distance during intervals, not the recovery periods in between, even if I run/jog them.
I must admit I love NRC guided runs BUT I don’t stretch when they suggest it, I do my dynamic stretches at home before my warm up walk. This means when I start it I don’t touch it again until it’s finished. Usually works although I have had a run or two that have just stopped midway 🤔.
I do stretches before and a warm up walk but I like the stretching before say a fartlek or interval run. It sort of puts me in the right frame of mind. The app glitched the other week so I couldn't pause before the intervals and I felt quite cheated!
