What can I say on going through C25K for the third time and got to Week 8 and really struggled with the 28 min runs so what have I done that’s caused this? Trying to hard never known failure and yes that’s what it is to me as I motored through the app twice before and up to week 8 with no issues doing everything asked by the app. I know it’s not failure, I got out there and I ran yes. So in answer what have I done? I have gone back to the beginning giving advice and my experience to new and returning runners giving them the confidence it’s not all about the speed but the fact the app will get you running for 30 minutes at the end. Yes I was one of the lucky ones that did complete 5k the first two times round and hopefully I will get that running strength back although after the big injury in March I guess I am still on the recovery trail. Slow and steady is the aim and that’s what I am getting my fellow runners to embrace. Hopefully every one is doing well out there. Stay fit and healthy I will be back.

Wise words Pap, it's never going to feel great when we can't meet our own expectations, but at least we know it's ok - just need to listen to our bodies and know that the system works. I'm finding it tougher this time around- I'm older and recovering from injuries, and covid seems to have affected my ability to bounce back. So I take it all into account, and I'm prepared to repeat runs until it feels ok. We'll get there even if it takes a bit longer 🏃🏃‍♀️

I think my downward trend when the issues started was the Covid jabs but will continue promoting and pushing others feel like the father figure out there as a lot of my younger runner friends struggling to pace themselves so dad here is getting them to go slow.
