Last time I re-started C25k I found myself struggling a bit at week 5, then other things got in the way, winter weather set in and I become a bit demotivated. However, I always meant to start again, and was planning January, but today was the day!
Late last night I pulled out my iPod, it was flat, so I gave it a short burst of charge before bed time. First thing this morning I realised that I didn't have Week 1 loaded. So I set off, in the mizzly rain, after a drink of water and a few dynamic warm up stretches, on Week 2, six short runs of 1.5 minutes, and it was all right. I did it! Even better, I enjoyed it!!
Thank you Birdlady64 for giving me a nudge

Very well done you... slow and steady as you go ! Do take a look at Catch-up Corner too. First new post for the New Year is coming on Saturday. It is great to keep you on track and a great place to share how it is going too !
Yay! WTG Newbie59 😁 Just take it easy and you'll be back on it proper in next to no time 👍
I had five weeks off following covid and it has taken a while to get back on it. I'm still not 100% but I'm being kind to myself and just doing what I can comfortably do - my advice to you is to do the same. You've done the hardest bit by pulling on your running shoes and getting out there....... good on you 🙏
It’s great when you sneak up on yourself. 😂 Telling yourself that you’ll start in January then secretly getting those shoes on and before you can talk yourself out of it, worry about it or come up with a million excuses, you’re already out the door.
It really was Birdlady64 posting that she had started again before Xmas so she had a head start on the New Year, that got me thinking, especially as I am rubbish at starting new year's resolutions
