That's my c25k journey this time. Last time, in 2016, I completed it in just over 9 weeks. It'll be much longer this time.

My last run was nearly 3 weeks ago, in Scotland when I was visiting friends and family. Once home, I was so tired and needed to rest. After a few days I developed Covid which I'd clearly brought back with me.

Although I tested negative fairly quickly, I've remained tired so it's taken a while to even think about running again. However, this morning I decided to go out and try a week 4 run (my last run was week 7 run 2).

Anyway, it went ok so I'll gradually get myself back to where I was, at the end of week 7. It's not a race, a few extra weeks make no difference overall. The main thing is to get back to regular running, that's my aim. I'm inspired by reading everyone's progress on here.

Covid really takes all our energy and can take a while to fully recover from, well done for getting out there, you will soon catch up, and as you say its not a race, take it steady

I hope you're back to full strength soon Joy and that you enjoyed your break in Scotland nevertheless.

Take it steady as you go.

Sorry to hear that you have had covid, what a huge shame that it is doing the rounds again with a new variant to catch us all out.

Take care as you recuperate, your gentle approach sounds very wise.
