I was just about to complete wk6 and sadly couht my grandsons heavy cold ,that turned into chest infection (which tends to happen thease days 🤦♂️)...Anyhoo steroids & antibiotics all done tomorrow feeling lot better and hope to get back to it early next week..
Any advice, ..think of starting back at end of wk3...
Not sure could handle long ger runs straight away....

🍏😩 Commiserations on that chest infection Ollie! I would ease back into gentle walks over the weekend being mindful to drink plenty of fluids especially water.. also do some deep breathing exercises.. then ease back into running next week… pick a run you feel happy to start with… do it at snail 🐌 pace. If it goes well keep moving to the next run.. if not it was good practice.. then choose to repeat it.. It’s an easing back in slowly listening to your body! Those longer runs will happily wait for you to catch up..so all good with your instinctive plan!! Let us know!!
