Getting back in the game.

Plan to run Monday after 4 weeks off. Been away on holiday and not been well this last week. I'm currently on W7R3 but the prospect of this run seems daunting after this break and I was doing so well. Was thinking of going back a couple of weeks. I'm a 50 year old female. Any advice please from you experienced C25K runners?

There’s no rules for where to restart after a longer break, so do what feels comfortable for you. An earlier run may prove reassuring and get you back quickly, or you may like to return straight to week 7 but be prepared to repeat a run or two if necessary. Just remember the First Rule of C25k: The only run you fail is the run you don’t go for ! Enjoy x

Update - I ran for 25 minutes on W7R3 so no going back after 4 week break. I found this physically and mentally a harder challenge this morning so will consider repeating until I find this comfortable. Then onwards and upwards to W8!! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️
