I am feeling sore today but must be a good sign my body is working hard!

I use my yoga breathing techniques that i used in child birth 😂…making sure my out breath is longer than my in breath to make sure i can keep control of my breathing. It definitely helps is i start loosing control of my breath! Seams to be working so far!

Have you read the article on the pinned posts about how to run c25K? Advice there about breathing! Usually if you are struggling you are running too fast! Slow right down & just breathe normally.

Well done you ! Hopefully my Wk 3 R3 will be completed tomorrow. It’s my knees that are the problem, have to say though today they are better than I expected after yesterdays run - so maybe there is hope for me to be able to do this. I hope so, so far I am enjoying it - 55yrs old and not run since I was about 15! Never expected to be doing this!

Good luck for next week 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

And I did it! Wk 3 R3 in the bag 🙌 have to say knees were tweaking a bit, but a good stretch and not letting my head tell me my knees are hurting seems to be doing the trick - I stand too long on hard floors throughout the day, so am trying to make sure that I do take the weight of the knees by sitting a bit, but not for too long - as with everything balance is needed. Just off for my warm bath now and hopefully those knees will cope until the next run. Will be doing it on my own as my daughter is going away, but I’ll listen to Laura and do as she advises, it’s working so far !

Well done. 😀. At 67 I’m going to attempt, no, do, week 4 run 1 tomorrow. Feeling slightly apprehensive but I’m going to do it!! I love the encouragement we get from reading others experiences. I guess you’re well into week 4 now. How are you finding it?
