Week 3 completed in the rain thanks to my water proof 'bum bag' πŸ˜‚

A few weeks ago when I thought about starting this, I saw someone near our house with a super slim pouch with their earphones attached. When they stopped they took their phone out. I got home and immediately looked online to find one. That, it turns out, was probably the best decision I've made. Not only does it carry my phone, it's completely waterproof, light and reflective. I don't even know it's there. Although my husband tells me it's basically a bum bag for runners. Well I was born in the 80's and they say fashion comes back around. It was thanks to this that I had no excuse about not going running in the rain.

Week 3 is now history. And I'm even more elated with each run. Although my lovely orange clouds are a little dirty, I'm going to wear that dirt with pride. It felt quite invigorating in the rain. I was the only person in the park tonight unsurprisingly. And I imagine people driving past me wondered why I was doing this. Some crazy 80's bird with go faster neon trainers πŸ˜‚β˜”οΈ

I did see the cat on my way home, it was snoozing in the shelter of a porch. Daren't take a picture as would've been too obvious so tonight's pic is a lovely before and after. I'm pretty happy with my shade.

Onwards to week 4!!!! πŸƒπŸƒπŸƒ

Snap, I've got a "runners bum bag" too! It's fabulous! I thought running in the rain would be awful but after two runs in torrential rain this week I feel quite liberated and it's easier (and cooler) than the sunshine we had today! I've also learnt my skin is definitely waterproof and so is my bumbag! Keep runningπŸ˜€

I love the bum bag. It's so light and my phone was perfectly dry. Glad to hear I'm not the only cool 80's chick around here πŸ˜€

I actually wear mine at the front too just in case I need to get my phone out for anything. I never do but I like to know it's safe πŸ˜€

Gorgeous shade of orange. I am thinking a colour bananarama may have worn. Well done you
