W1R2 done (again)

Just finished W1R2 of my running recovery journey. It's weird to feel limited by my leg rather than by my cardiovascular system! I did find that the discipline learned from running has helped me to stick to my regular physiotherapy exercises and kept me going to the gym to do upper body workouts despite my knee. Today it also helped me get out there on a blustery, cold day and complete R2! Onward and upward!

🍏Wow that photo tells a story… brave you … I always find an extra satisfaction in having completed a run in adverse weather.. Well done! So pleased you mentioned the discipline of running… it really does spill over into all areas of our lives. It must be a relief to be back on the recovery journey after all you have been through with your knee.. keep those runs nice and slow, take extra rest days when you need to .. and hopefully the knee will co operate. Thanks for sharing & do let us know how the next run goes!

I'm sure I can smell the ozone! Showing some grit getting out early in that weather, Lil. Do you have any support on your knee? My ankle is still tender but seems stronger after a run than it did before it.

Good for you, it takes strength to get out in this wet windy weather
