Finished my second run today, but because Norway is cold and contains alot of snow I did it on a treadmill instead of outdoors ❄️

Went really well except a little knee pain in the beginning. Have learned that the 5 minute warm-up is a bit too little in my case, so from now on, i think I will warm up maybe 10 minutes. Do any of you feel the same? And also: do any of you run these on a treadmill and not outdoors?

Anyway I’m excited to see progress in my future running!

What a view! Mind you, at those temps I think I’d opt for a treadmill! There again, with the right layers... ooh, dilemma!

Hello...what a gorgeous photo! I’ve just started the programme today on a treadmill indoors. The UK in November is not exactly great for outside jogging 😊

Hi, I have one run left until I graduate and I have completed every run on my treadmill. I have not had any problems at all and will continue to run on the treadmill for a few months yet as I try and build on my progress (and hopefully the UK weather will get warmer). I will then hopefully run outside for the first time 😊

Good luck with your running - take it at your own pace and, if you feel a longer warm up helps, I would say go for it.

Good luck

You’re welcome. I should add that I would be much more enthusiastic to run outside if I had a view like that but I agree with you that it is too cold at the moment 😉

What a gorgeous place. I'm running on the Canadian prairies with what looks like a similar climate to yours. I try to run most of my runs outdoors. It is possible but does require some extra thought into your running attire. That being said, you run where you are most comfortable, where you are most likely to be successful. Best of luck on your journey, it's life changing (and addicting) for many of us.
