Well ... started off tonight's 'preliminary power walk' feeling glad to be back in my trainers again! But have been beating myself up mentally as left far toooo long between walks - 5 days π±πͺ. However ... feeling the gains! ππ
Went on my 'walk No 2' with dh, youngest (complete with ferret) ... but even with too bigga gaps between the days I can def feel the improvement!
I'm able to walk faster, breathe better, feel stronger ... and talk at the same time which is multi tasking progress for me! π
That feeling of feel good hormones is the best isn't it?!
So the plan is π€π€... 2 more 'power walks' - and then C25K begins!!! βΊοΈ
Wishing everyone a great weekend π

Well done π and the odd few days break is good, helps your legs catch up with the extra you are asking of them. So glad you are feeling the benefit.
πYou are always so positive Ziggy even in the midst of trial.. the feel good factor shines out of youβ¦ Donβt ever feel guilty about extra rest daysβ¦.often much needed for the recovery processβ¦ you will soon be on the run again.. In the meantime enjoy the power walks!!
