Week 1 done

Well, this time last week I had no idea that I may have kidney disease, no symptoms, that I have slightly raised glucose, (how can that be when I don’t drink, avoid all sugars, eat very low carb??🤷‍♀️) bmi too high etc etc. Having got over the initial huge shock I have just completed week 1 and even added on an extra few minutes light jogging around my patio as I was enjoying my music. Scales are showing 4lbs down so now I feel super motivated to continue into week 2. Going to get those bmi and glucose numbers down even if I can’t do much about the kidney levels. Thank you so much for this support network, it feels invaluable. 😍

🍏So well done on taking a positive “can do” attitude to what must have been difficult to hear, results! You will make an excellent runner … so much about running is in our determination to do it… Well done 👏 on completing week 1 which is perhaps the most difficult week of the program.. getting out and getting started… Week 2 here you come 🎶

Thank you for giving me a bit of inspiration as someone who also needs to lower their BMI and hasn't completed week 1 yet - hope it all goes well for you. 🙂

Great. Keep going. I’m just about to start week 5. Repeated week 4 run 3 twice as I’m in France and it’s considerably hotter than back home. Trying to go early but I think I feel ready to move on 🤞🤞
