Back at athletics club on Tuesday night, first time for cheetah explore, hill intervals, steady down and power up, increasing very short distance speed, really happy with early results ๐Ÿ˜ƒ. Short term pace, improved to 7:24 per kilometre, getting there slowly.

That's so fast ๐Ÿ˜ I'd love that speed at our age, I keep trying. Well done you ๐Ÿ˜„

That pace was for just under 3 minutes flat out up hill, could not keep it up for any longer.๐Ÿ˜ซ๐Ÿ˜ด

You can build on that flat out uphill! I think you would benefit from some cross training on your rest days. Your general fitness will improve much more quickly. Although Iโ€™m not sure if I should be encouraging you to do anything more quickly!

It's, part of a 12 week fitness plan for amputee's, there are about 16 of us on that plan, but I'm running a week behind the rest so got another 5 weeks left on it after this week, the course is planned by a world champion para canoeist, Jack Ayres and it's run by the charity "Limbpower" , they are the reason my life changing event has had more positives than negatives.
