Wow, wow, wow, this week has been a real game changer with three 25 minute runs! There was nowhere to hide but guess what! I did it! And although my thighs are aching a bit... I feel awesome!!! Must be the explosion of endorphins in my body 😊🥰😊 I hope everyone doing this challenge experiences similar feelings of achievement! Well done to all of us! 🏅This week I met a neighbour who does the local park run on Saturdays so I will now find a friendly face when I eventually join them (after this challenge).
I have calculated that, for when I am in week 9, to cover 5k, I need to run 21.7 laps of my field in 30 mins which is 81 seconds per lap, a bit faster than I am doing now (approximately 90 seconds per lap). I was thinking in the next couple of weeks I will aim for two sloooow runs and one a bit faster and see if I can keep that pace 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️
