Have become very unfit and overweight, used to run an awful lot but very hard getting back into it, 2nd run seemed slightly easier, fingers crossed 😀

Congratulations on week 1 run 2! Nearly the first week done…and that in my opinion is the hardest! Keep posting your runs, and listen to the advice and support from all the graduates & admin in the group. How did it feel today?

I'm 3 stone overweight but did a 10K race on Monday. OK I came 3rd last out over >1000 runners but I loved it. I've done about 30 runs of 10K and over and about 150 5K and over since I graduated in November 2020 (mainly on my own but also 46 Parkruns.) I wasn't a runner in my youth. You will lose weight if you watch what you eat (my next goal!) I turned 60 last month, so as the phrase goes: if I can do it...😀

likewise. I used to run 15k. Then I found week 1 hard! But the point is that we’ve signed up, showed up and we’re doing it. We’re already winners.
