Twice a week went down to once aweek due to Well.... life. Added extra distance to dog walks though hoping this keeps my fitness on track. No I can't do it with the dog. Hoping for twice again this week

These things happen, and as was said in replies to your first post, we tweak the runs to suit what is going on in our life...

Are you putting in some upper body and core strength work on some rest days... there are a lot of great links for seated exercise on the S and F forum, which might be useful...

Well done you !

Hi, I do lots of other exercise, so all good on that count.

Life has a habit of getting in the way! I’ve found a few short workouts I can do at home when runs don’t fit. Yoga with Adriene is great for that sort of thing. I’ve also binned my definition of what counts as a good run so any running is a good thing. Getting out for a quick (time not pace!!) ten or fifteen minutes helped me feel like I was still running regularly and that made is easier to keep going. It’s great you’ve been able to extend the dog walks. I bet your dog is pleased with that too!

Really good luck with getting those runs in this week. If you’re anything like me, once you feel like you’re going consistently again, it will be much, much easier to keep that up.
