The runs in week 4 were all fine, just looking ahead to week 5. W5R3 looks fun!
May try and do it earlier in the week so I have a little Longer break after it, may try and do Sunday/Tuesday/Thursday rather than Friday to give me an extra recovery day before next Sunday. Any tips for getting through 20 minutes (yikes) greatly appreciated.
One thing I thought of is because I've been doing this inside on a treadmill I haven't listened to the podcasts yet as I can see the app on my phone at all times for timings etc, does Laura really help, or will I just get annoyed by her.
Thanks
Pete

I found Laura helps, particularly on more challenging runs, she also shares tips on the podcasts about running that are practical and helpful. Always good to have a 2 day rest after a longer run, good idea. Just nice and slow, breathe well and u will do week 5 run 3!
You'll be fine. The programme has prepared you, have faith in it. I really enjoyed week 5.
Laura is also on the app though, no? I don't know what you mean by being able to see the app? Do you run staring at a phone and not with headphones? And does it show you when to run and when to walk? Or have you pre-memorised the timings?
I run outside with headphones (Bluetooth so no wires) and just do what Laura tells me. I've used a mixture of both app and podcast. The music on the podcasts can be a bit annoying. The app allows you to overlay Laura's prompts over you own music or indeed no music. I've found her very helpful but as the programme advances you get a lot less of her. If you've got this far without her I'm not sure there's much point picking her up now.
As I run on a treadmill at the gym my phone is on the treadmill. That way I can see timings for intervals, the treadmill and my Polar watch also have the timings in them as well, so no headphones yet, as there is more than enough noise in the gym.
Just finished W5R3 myself and I was not looking forward to it but it was easier that I expected. I was lucky that the route I use takes 5 minutes so I needed to do 4 laps. Good luck.
