A funny thing about Week 8

I finished Week 8 today - despite the dog doing TWO sneaky poos while I was running I was a good responsible dog owner - kept jogging on the spot juggling bumbag, poobags, gloves and dog lead...quite challenging :-)

To anyone about to do Week 8. It may just be a quirk of the particular version of C25K which I have downloaded but Laura seems to say "stop running" twice. The first time she is just encouraging you to keep running but slower...so don't do what I did the first time and grind to a shuddering halt! Keep running and a minute later you get permission to slow down to a walk!

Well done completing week 8 :-)

Running with dogs does seem to involve a lot of bag scooping :-)

Added 50 seconds to my park run on Christmas Day :-)

Welcome to this very special club! It is one of the reasons I have stuck with the five minute warm up walk as it does usually take care of the first one but you do have to watch out for sneaky extras. I've done a lot of daft running in circles so that the bag is out and open for me to scoop as I go past the offending item.

I have nifty containers for the filled bags. Recently got a Poo Pot which is flat when not in use, although it is a little heavy for running I think and I perhaps prefer my (expensive) Dicky bag.

GoogleMe I have a 3-poo boy! He often does 2 during the five minute warm up walk and then Nips off to the long grass to slip one in while I am chugging along!
