New Year - time to return to fitness

Hi there,

having recently turned 61 I really felt the need to try to return to the healthier, fitter life that I lead in the past. Discovered the couch to 5K plan whilst walking the dog, Aska and listening to "You and Yours" on BBC Radio 4 on New Years Day. Now the dog is following the plan with me - tomorrow we tackle the 3rd run of Week 1. So far man and dog are enjoying themselves tremendously.

I also love the music - where do I get the playlist please?

Hoping that we can both stay the course... In fact I'm determined that we will :-)

Welcome to you and the dog (lovely pic) keep coming back here cos it's very friendly and the folks on here are very knowledgeable (I've finished w2 now so you're not far behind me)

Make sure you're running slowly and you must take atleast one rest day in between each run seems to be the general advice. And

I usually will only manage 2 runs /week not 3 but have been told this is fine too👍

Happy running

There’s music on the podcast but not on the App......

Ah, I used the app. I'd quite like to do the stepping stones thing but it's only in podcast form so I just largely do my own thing!

Ah, OK. Thanks. I really like the music and Laura's voice urging me on :-)
