Congratulations and you absolutely deserve to be proud of what you’ve already done. It’s never too early to celebrate!

It’s usually best not to extend the runs. The programme builds gently so you’re ready for the next run. Increasing too quickly can put you at a greater risk of an injury. Route planning is tricky and I’ve had a fair few long walks home myself so I totally get the temptation to keep on going!

There’s a guide to the programme that’s worth a read here….

Keep up the good work and keep updating-there’s a whole host of virtual run buddies here to cheer you on!🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

The runs in week 3 are the shortest in overall duration in the whole programme. You might not have noticed, but the app has a "half time" bell to let you know when you might want to turn back.

Hi Yvette_monica1 , well done on your progress. I was (and remain) hopeless at route-planning so quite often my C25K runs ended further from home than I'd expected.

However, while I'll admit that I too occasionally succumbed to the temptation to run a bit more, it's much better to do a longer cooldown walk. Happy running!
