I did my W1R2 on Sunday, I did do a post on my phone but it doesn't seem to have actually posted it so, a recap.

W1R2 - I was going to do this Saturday but I woke up feeling a little sick with the odd dizzy spell, so I did it when I woke up on Sunday.

I wasn't planning on running until today I as was away for work but I got the job finished early so I got home earlier than I thought.

Around 5:30pm (I normally run in the mornings) I threw on the shorts and running t-shirt and set off.

I enjoyed every step of the run.

On Sunday I did another Garmin HR recovery test, it's done over 2 minutes, not one as I previously thought.

After 2 minutes my HR had dropped 33bpm, as per the picture.

So I'm due to start week 2 tomorrow, I'm hoping to get back to the Monday, Wednesday and Friday running pattern ASAP, I find it easier.

Fantastic news! Sounds like you’ve made a brilliant start to your comeback. Hope you can get back on schedule with your preferred days. It’s a pain when you’re out of sync with how you’d like to run.

Nice watch by the way!

Thanks for the comments, it feels so good to be back on the treadmill.

I used to have the 735 but it died last when when I was in Egypt, I get a nice discount at Garmin through work, instead of the 745 being around £420, I got it for around £350 maybe a little less.

I wish I'd gone for the 955 but that's just because you can get it with solar charging too and I find the 745's battery doesn't last as long as the 735's did.

There’s nothing like a break from running to make you really appreciate it when you’re back again!

That’s a tidy discount on your watch. Love a bargain. Tech is always a bit of a gamble, isn’t it. I wish there was a library service where you could borrow a few models and then choose after testing them. When my husband bought a new violin bow recently, he was allowed to take four for a couple of weeks and buy the best one. Maybe this is how I’ll make my millions! Or maybe it already exists and I just don’t know about it…

I always order my tech stuff online and with a credit card, that way you get 14 days to test the item out and if the seller fails to accept it back you have the law and the credit card company on your side.
