Fantastic news! How have you found the runs? I used to have a little celebration after each run and a big one at the end of every week. After I finished? Biggest of them all! You’ve taken the hardest steps in getting started and this community is all about supporting runners through to the end of c25k and beyond. You’re very welcome here!

There’s a brilliant little guide to the programme here with lots of helpful hints and tips.  Well worth a read.  Most important is keeping it slow and steady at a pace where you can talk in full sentences without gasping.  Most of us go too fast! Recovery days between runs are absolutely essential too.

It was quite humbling. I didn't realise how difficult running for 60 seconds was. The runs were challenging but I always felt good and proud of myself afterwards. I am both eager and a tiny bit anxious to see what week 2 has in store. I am also really worried about consistency, as I don't exactly have the best track record when it comes to consistency.

I think the eager but a little anxious is normal! You’ve done everything that was required for week 1-you’re ready for for week 2-keep it steady and you’ll get there.

There’s no reason to think you can’t carry on. At least give yourself chance to succeed before you’ve decided you’re going to fail! It doesn’t matter what’s gone on before-focus in what you’re achieving now.

Finally started week 2 and it wasn't as bad as my fears pictured it😅. The first and last 90 second bits are usually the hardest for me. Now worries about week 3 are creeping up🥲😅. I am trying to take it a run at a time and focusing on just that. I'd store this " give yourself a chance to succeed before you decide you are going to fail ". Thank yooouuu for the kind words and motivation 😊

When you’re thinking about what’s to come, try and remember what you’ve already done. You’ve completed all your runs so far. The logical thing to happen next is you will complete the next one based on your past performance. You can do this because you already have! Bring on that success! 🏃‍♀️❤️🏃‍♀️

Thank you😊. I can't wait to reach that point and I am trusting the process. I am taking time to enjoy the journey there, and consciously reminding myself to be proud of me each time I go for a run-walk.
