It’s just between my son-in-law and I to give us a bit of a focus.
I normally run 3 sometimes 4 times a week, usually 5K’s and for the past 10 months outside. Prior to that, I ran exclusively for 2 years on a treadmill.
I am still getting used to ‘outside’ as it felt like a completely different discipline on the treadmill.
First run today of 6.45 k.
If we complete the 100k and our heads have maintained an equilibrium, the challenge will be a success!

Good luck for your 100K January challenge with your son in law, you ran the first of 31 runs today, 6.45 kilometers, 30 days left, so slightly less than 4K a day for the rest of the month should be enough to complete that 100K challenge for January.
Good morning AlMorr, thanks for your reply. I was hoping to do 6.5 k every other day to enable me to have a rest day in between. I think if I ran every day it would become too onerous and I don’t want the running to become a chore. The good thing with plans is they can be changed especially to fit in with the weather at the moment.
