Unexpectedly summoned to my parents' house; grabbed my running kit on the way to the car and snatched 40 minutes to run W9R1 beside the gorgeous Menai Straits - cold and raining but exhilarating.

Week 9 Run 1

Well done Languid Lil, only 2 more 30 minute runs until you graduate, I wish you good luck for your graduation run.
love it round there, well done 👏👏

When you're ready, there's a parkrun at Penrhyn Castle (near Tal-y-Bont) and one in Newborough Forest (which I did with a couple of the running buddies from here). The one at Llangefni looks interesting too.
I wouldn't recommend Pwllheli parkrun to a beginner: it's a deceptively hard slog to run 5km on sand and shingle. I've had to run/walk it several times.
They are lovely places, aren't they but I live in Llandudno so my local Parkrun (see profile photo) is at RSPB Conwy - nice and flat!
Gosh great photo, takes me back. Graduated from the Uni in 1973!!!! What a great place to snatch a run weather or not.

Oh bravo!
