Week 9 Run 1 ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

After my week off I returned to a long day of work today, catching up on emails and I was looking forward to logging off and getting outside for a bit once Iโ€™d finished for the day.

I deliberately set off slowly and managed to maintain a comfortable pace, this was my most evenly paced run to date (I usually slow down a lot in the last five minutes and my pacing can be a bit all over the place). I was amazed that I didnโ€™t get any leg aches, didnโ€™t feel tired and my breathing was pretty good - I even managed to speed up in the last few minutes. I think this must have been my gazelle run as StoneDragon wrote about last week! I didnโ€™t reach 5k but am happy with my first 30 min run โ˜บ๏ธ๐ŸฆŒ

By the time I finished my warm down walk it was getting dark so home, stretches, warm shower and sausage & mash for dinner it is!

Good luck to everyone starting a new week of runs, weโ€™ve got this!! ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ

In order of importance what a brilliant Autumnal meal sausage n mash ๐Ÿ‘ ( culinary tip..... Don't eat it in the shower your potatoes will get soggy ๐Ÿ˜) and well done on that pacing, it's brilliant when all the factors of your Running start to come together it's a wonderful thing ๐Ÿ‘

Haha yes definitely donโ€™t want soggy potatoes ๐Ÿ˜‚ ! Yay Iโ€™m so pleased itโ€™s all finally coming together as I remember finding week 7 very challenging and was worried Iโ€™d really struggle!!

Challenging yes some of the runs, but it's up to you not to let them become a struggle, go at your pace, that's the Golden rule LauraRuns๐Ÿ‘

Fantastic ๐ŸฆŒ๐ŸฆŒ๐ŸฆŒ๐ŸฆŒ gazelle running LR, you smashed it ๐Ÿ‘ Sounds like your planets aligned and you really enjoyed it. Who could ask any more? ๐Ÿ˜€

Iโ€™ve taken an extra rest day as my ankles stiffened up over the weekend. Fingers ๐Ÿคžcrossed Iโ€™ll be out tomorrow.

Enjoy your gazelle run glow ๐Ÿ˜‚
