Graduated this morning. Can't quite believe it.

I have fibromyalgia, a bad back and it's taken me since April to get to the end of Week 9, and yet here I am, pleased as punch.

Will definitely keep the jogging (run is really overstating what I'm doing) up. Any tips from other graduates.

You did it! Awesome, Gaye1963 !

I just finished my 10th consolidation run following the advice on the board (and the schedule here: healthunlocked.com/strength... ). Although, honestly, I am starting to lose count - and just go out for 30 minutes Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday 😎

"Eventually" I want to be able to work on getting to a 30-minute 5 km and longer distances. I am not sure yet when that'll be, though...

well done, great feeling isn't it ? My 2 tips are to find your local parkrun and go there regularly where you'll find a great community of other runners/ joggers / walkers and everything in between and join a club / group where you can jog with others. Good luck

Congratulations! What a superb achievement. Hold on to that feeling-you’ve earned it.

My top tips are to try out lots of new routes, don’t worry if you don’t enjoy every run and remember that you’re still learning even though you’re a graduate. Every run has something to celebrate, even if it’s just making it to the end!

Enjoy taking some time to consolidate what you’ve achieved and who knows where your runner’s legs will have taken you by this time next year!

And you are a runner-speed is irrelevant. Don’t knock yourself down!

well done on completing c25k, it's a great feeling and a fantastic achievement!

My advice would be to continue doing a few more 30 minute consolidation runs at the pace you are doing.

Well done again and celebrate! 🥂

Congratulations! Feel proud of your achievement and do tell people! :)

My tip would be to keep on going out for a jog/run two or three times a week, aiming for 30 minutes until you feel very comfortable with that. If you don't feel like doing the full 30 minutes, just go out and do what you feel like on the day, even if it's only 10 minutes. You will build up the running habit!

Don't feel any pressure to go faster or for longer at this stage. Just enjoy the feeling that you have graduated from C25k and you are now a runner.

Parkrun is great - you could do Parkrun by part jogging and part walking. I would caution though, it is infectious, and when everybody shoots away from the start it is tempting to run outside your comfort zone, and that can lead to injury.

Absolutely amazing achievement - a huge well done! You must be on a high with a huge smile on your face.

Just try the last week of ct5k a few weeks until you feel comfortable with the runs.

Well done! My tip would be don’t be disappointed if you suddenly find you can’t run for 30 min next week! You think you’ve cracked it but there were still be days when runs don’t go so well. Also there’s no Sarah telling you what to do and you’ll miss her but what I enjoyed was stopping for a walk just because I fancied it!! It’s you’re rules from now on so just enjoy it.
