Hi Everyone
Good to meet you all. I am on week 8 and really enjoying it. I am just wondering what everyone else has done when they get to graduate. I want to keep going and not fall back into my old ways. Any advice?

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5....
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
When you announce your graduation I will send you a link to a guide to post C25k running.
If you cannot wait, it is sitting in the FAQ Posts, which you will find in the Pinned Posts.
Enjoy your journey.
Hi ANNETTE1234 , there are lots of possibilities after completing and, importantly, consolidating C25K.
Many people enjoy parkrun, guided audio runs e.g. Nike Run Club, entering races and following training plans to run faster or further. None of those suits me. I prefer messing around on forest trails, and running longer distances when I can.
So the only advice I can give you is that it's your choice. Spend some time finding out what sort of running you like, and have fun!
Keep going! While we can we must 😃 All weathers and conditions just keep going and all else falls into place. You deserve it and you've earned it so enjoy the process.
We’ll done, you’ll get loads of encouragement here, consolidate well and then just run and enjoy would be my advice, it was soon after completing C25K that we realised we were enjoying the actual running rather than counting down the minutes until we could stop
Hi there.
Good luck with graduating and what happens after.
I completed C25K in 2018. Basically, I did the three weeks' consolidation runs and then ... kind of ... kept going. There are other goals, like the Bridge to 10k, but really I just decided to keep running . I found I liked running to music so made it part of my routine. I've had breaks due to injury, or disinclination, but I've gone back to it and while I don't always run 3X a week, it is still a regular part of my life. I have since varied my route and changed the music (currently in a Taylor Swift phase) but really I like the feeling at the end of the run that I;ve achieved something more than not getting up and out there. Different for everyone as I suspect others need more of an aim, but it works for me now four years in to my running life.
Take care!
Hi Crolla
Thanks for answering. I was looking at the Bridge to 10k. I am thinking of doing the Nike 10k as it starts basic and I could run the easy ones on my off days. I do really enjoy the runs and I know myself well enough that I tend to overdo things and then stop which I am trying to avoid, so I am being very disciplined. 😀
